SUPVERVALU Ireland has warned customers about a scam text message that has been doing the rounds.
Customers have been receiving a message that gives them a chance to get your hands on vouchers.
The text reads: “Hey, SuperValu are giving away free coupons. I just received mine, receive yours before the offer ends.
However this text is not real and according to one customer it can cost you €5 every time you receive a text from the number if you click the link.
Warning customers on their Facebook page, SuperValu said: “We have received reports from members of the public of communications, including WhatsApp messages, offering SuperValu vouchers by clicking on a link/asking to enter personal information/ answer questions or sharing the post.
“These are NOT issued, endorsed or promoted by SuperValu. Please do NOT share any personal info and do not interact.”
