Derry’s love with all things traditional following the hugely successful All Ireland Fleadh, is set to continue later this month.
More than 1,000 Irish dancers will converge on the city to compete in Ireland’s North West Irish Dancing Championships.
Top dancers from Britain, the Republic of Ireland, Scotland, Europe and America will take part in the two-day event to take place in the Millennium Forum on Saturday and Sunday, September 21 and 22.
Registered with An Coimisiun le Rince Gaeltachta, competition gets under way each day at 8.00am and, according to the organisers, will “run to late.”
