A “bomb alert” in the Foyle Road area of the city has ended.
Army technical officers were called in after a police a search a flat on an unrelated matter during which they said they discovered “suspicious object.”
Police remain at the scene at Coshowen Park on Foyle Road, however the technical team has withdrawn from the area and traffic is flowing as normal
The man who lives in the flat told Derry Daily he was at a loss at what was happening.
He said: “I don’t know what is going on. They are telling me nothing.”
