Derry girl Tabea Weyrauch is making her mark this week at New York Fashion Week.

The Foyleside beauty was plucked from obscurity, and is now a catwalk favourite.
In 2010, she won a much-coveted modelling contract at IMG Models through the RTÉ series “The Model Scouts.” She has since been gathering attention on the international circuit.
This week in New York, Tabea is busy modelling for Jeremy Laing, Band of Outsiders, Thom Browne, Mara Hoffman, and other top designers.
The 19-year-old is certainly enjoying her time in the city. She keeps her Twitter followers updated with backstage photos, and observations about the city:
“One of the greatest things about NY has to be the generosity with which it stuffs its sandwiches.”
The German-born model moved to Derry 13 years ago.
