Gardai are appealing for information following an attempted armed robbery at Letterkenny casino last night.
The incident took place in the Majestic Casino on Port Road at around 10.45pm when a man entered the premises and threatened staff with a knife, demanding cash.
However, the made off empty-handed a short time later in the direction of Main Street.
The man, described as being in his 30s, of average build with an Irish accent and over six foot tall, was wearing a dark navy parker jacket with a dark coloured scarf and navy suit trousers.
