Police in Strabane are warning parents in the town of the dangers of “legal highs.”
The warning comes after police were contacted by a number of parents who discovered “legal highs” in the possession of their teenage children.
“Legal highs” are substances that mimic the effects of controlled drugs such as cocaine, ecstasy and cannabis.
Strabane PSNI Chief Inspector said: “They come in the form of powders, pills and herbal materials and look similar to the controlled drugs that they mimic.”
