Police in Derry, who are looking to establish the “precise” circumstances surrounding a minor traffic accident in the city, are looking for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
A PSNI spokesperson said the collision between two cars occurred at the Waterside end of the Foyle Bridge shortly before 6.00pm on Tuesday, 10 September last.
The spokesperson said it was understood the driver of a maroon VW Passat collided with a silver VW Passat as the driver was in the left-hand lane waiting to turn left onto the Clooney carriageway.
The spokesperson added: “No serious injuries or damage were reported, however police are keen to establish the precise circumstances of the incident and would like to hear from anyone in the area at the time.”
The spokesperson said anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police on 0845 600 8000 or a member of their local Neighbourhood Team directly – details can be found on the PSNI website.
Alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
