Philip Flynn has been appointed the chairperson of Ilex, the Derry regeneration company. Joining him will be three new directors, Aaron McElhinney, Henry McGarvey and Gerry Mullen.
The appointments were confirmed earlier today by the Office of the First and Deputy First Minister.
Mr Flynn succeeds interim chairperson Matt McNulty who said the appointments bring the Ilex board “up to full strength.”
He added the quartet join the company at a “very exciting time” when the city had proven its credentials through the success of the City of Culture and the completion and enhancement of many heritage and cultural projects.
