A one day course to help people deal with stress will take place in Derry tomorrow.
The course, being run buy the public service UNISON, will be held in the Old Church, Clarendon Street from 10.00am – 4.00pm.
The course will cover – symptoms of stress, causes of stress, individual responses to stress, affects of stress on internal thoughts and emotions, coping with stress, releasing tension and what to expect of management and employers.
A UNISON spokesperson said the course would help participants recognise signs of stress, underlying reasons for stress and ways of managing stress.
The spokesperson added: “Participants will have the opportunity to examine their own ability to prevent and cope with stress.”
