The burner was taken stolen from a house in Rosemount Avenue and people living in the area are being urged to report any suspicious to police.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “Report any suspicious activity immediately to police as you could prevent a crime happening in your street.”

The spokesperson added anyone with information about the theft should to contact police on 0845 600 8000 or a member of their local Neighbourhood Team directly – details can be found on the PSNI website.

The spokesperson added: “Alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
