The funeral of Derry murder victim Barry McCrory will take place this Tuesday.
Barry McCrory (35) was shot dead in a flat in Shipquay Street on Thursday morning. He was gunned down by a lone gunman suspected to be Kieran McLaughlin (58), from Galliagh.
A post mortem has taken place in Belfast but details of its findings have not yet been made public.
Mr McCrory’s remains were returned to his family this evening, arriving at their home in Cornshell Fields shortly before 5.00pm from where he will taken for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St Joseph’s Church, Galliagh, on Tuesday.
St Joseph’s Church is located about 200 yards from the home of Kieran McLaughlin’s daughter which has been visited by police on a number of occasions since the manhunt began.
Meanwhile, the cross-border manhunt for suspect continues.
