One person was injured in a suspected gas explosion in the Waterside area of Derry late last night.
The scene in Bond Street.
Homes in the Bond Street area were evacuated after the blast which occurred shortly after 11.30pm.
Firefighters from Crescent Link fire station attended the scene while police diverted traffic from area.
It is understood a number of buildings in the area are currently undergoing refurbishment work.
The injured person was taken to hospital following the blast but their condition condition is not known.
