Staff were threatened by a man believed to be armed with a gun at convenience store in Dungiven last night.
The man, also believed to carrying a hammer, demanded money from staff after entering the shop at around 10.30pm before making off with a sum of cash.
None of the staff were injured but were left badly shaken.
Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
