A number buildings in Derry city centre are to be demolished because they are in a dangerous condition.
The Department of the Environment is seeking to bring down a number of extensions to the rear of the Northern Counties Building at 24 Bishop Street Within and to the rear of 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11 London Street.
The DOE believes the buildings are in a “poor state of repair.”
Front sections of buildings to street frontage are to remain as they currently exist while original Northern Counties Building will also remain remain.
