Oaklee Housing and the Housing Executive are to meet local residents concerned about a proposed housing development on Fahan Street.

Sinn Féin Councillor Mickey Cooper has welcomed the meeting which will take place in Pilots Row tomorrow at 5.30pm in Pilots Row Community Centre
Cllr Cooper said the meeting would give residents the opportunity the opportunity to ask questions and raise any concerns they have about this development.
Cllr Cooper added: “The Housing Executive was unable to attend the last public meeting on this issue which meant a number of residents queries could not be answered. This latest meeting will allow these queries to be dealt with and Oaklee Housing will also have updated plans which will give residents more of an insight of the proposals.”
He concluded: “Whilst we are at the very early stages of any formal plans, what we have learned from other housing developments in the city is that consultation was key to resolving any issues that present themselves.”
