About 40 firefighters are tackling a fire at the derelict site of a former school in the Waterside area of Derry.
Eight fire crews are fighting the blaze at the old Faughan Valley High School campus on the Drumahoe Road.
The fire was reported at around 8.30pm.
Faughan Valley High School amalgamated with Clondermot High School in 2004 to form Lisneal College.
It is the second major fire at a former school in the city in the last two months.
St Peter’s High School in the Creggan area is to be demolished following a blaze there last month.
