There is a security alert in the Waterside area of Derry.
The offices of Public Prosecution Service on the Limavady Road have been evacuated amid reports that a device was delivered to the office.
Deputy Mayor DUP Cllr Gary Middleton said he had been informed by police the device was “viable” and had been delivered by postal services.
The alert follows the interception of letter bombs addressed to PSNI Chief Constable Matt Baggott and Derry Chief Inspector Jon Burrows on Friday last.
A section of the Limavady Road has been sealed off and motorists are being advised to avoid the area.
