Two cars in the Carnhill area were set on fire around 8.00pm. Three people wearing hooded tops were seen in the area at the time and are believed to have come from the Collon Lane direction.

Detectives investigating the incident want anyone with information about the incident to contact police on 0845 600 8000 or a member of  their local Neighbourhood Team directly – details can be found on the PSNI website.

A PSNI spokesperson said alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
