A house in Limavady has been repossessed by the Housing Executive following complaints of anti-social behaviour by the tenant.
The HE took possession of the property after securing an Order of Possession on the grounds of proven unacceptable behaviour by the tenant.
Pamela Mullan, the HE’s local manager, said the action was not taken lightly but was a “last resort” after all other attempts to resolve the problems were unsuccessful.
She said: “As a housing authority, we do not want to see people losing their homes. However, we have a duty to the vast majority of residents in our housing areas who are law-abiding and have a right to be able to live in peace.”
