Police in Derry have issued an appeal in relation to an assault which in which a man sustained a serious injury.
The assault took place in Bond’s Street in the Waterside on 6 October last when the man was attacked by a man while returning home from a house party between 2.30am and 3.00am.
The victim has been receiving treatment for a serious leg injury.
A police spokesperson said the attacker was was part of a larger group and police were keen to speak to anyone who was in the area and could help with their enquiries.
