Derry City midfielder Barry Molloy is featuring in a 2014 calendar produced to raise funds for Drogheda United striker Gary O’Neill who is battling cancer.
The former Shamrock Rovers and Shelbourne front man has undergone surgery for testicular cancer and is currently undergoing treatment.
Molloy is one of 12 players from each of the Airtricity Premiership clubs brought together the PFAI and their official fundraising partner icharityu.com to feature in the calendar which went on sale yesterday.
The project is funded by Ford and a percentage of all profits will also go to the Irish Cancer Society.
The calendar will also be available at today’s FAI Cup final between Sligo Rovers and Drogheda United which kicks off in the Aviva Stadium at 3.30pm.
