St Mary’s Ardmore travel to Clones this afternoon to take on Monaghan champions Emyvale in the Ulster Junior Club Championship.
The Derry champions will go into today’s clash as underdogs against a side that contains four county minor players.
Ardmore have not had a competitive game since defeating Doire Trasna in the Derry final seven weeks ago and since then manager Willie McLaughlin has lost the services of Danny Gavin and Mark O’Kane to emigration.
However, he welcomes back Eoin Dooher after a hamstring injury.
One of the main threats to Ardmore will be Emyvale corner-forward Daniel McMahon who scored 2-04 for the 2009 Ulster junior champions in their county final win over Blackhill Emeralds.
