Derry men Shane Ferguson and Daniel Lafferty have been included in the Northern Ireland squad for the upcoming friendly against Turkey.
Midfielder Ferguson, who is contracted to Newcastle United but is currently on loan at Championship club Birmingham, has been capped 13 teams, scoring one goal.
Lafferty, a former Derry City defender (25), has been capped seven times.
Also included in the 20-man squad named by manager Michael O’Neill for the game to played in Adana tomorrow week, Friday 15 November, is former Derry City forward Niall McGinn, currently with Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership, has been capped 27 times, scoring just the once.
Team boss O’Neill has agreed a two year extension to his contract with the Irish Football Association to remain as Northern Ireland manager which will see him take charge of the team for the UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying campaign.
