Police in Derry are appealing for information following the theft and burning of a postal van in the city.
The incident occurred on Thursday last at around 2.30pm but details of just been released by police.
The red Transit van was stolen from outside an address at Pelham Road in the Lisnagelvin area of the Waterside.
A PSNI spokesperson said the van was seen travelling in the direction of the border along the Culmore Road a short time later and again in the Whitehouse Road area just before 6.00pm.
The van was later found on fire, at approximately 1.10am on Sunday morning last, 11 November, in the Dunluce Court in the Ballymagroarty aera.
The police spokesperson asked anyone who witnessed the incident or who had any information of the whereabouts of the vehicle to contact police at Strand Road on 0845 600 8000 or a member of your local Neighbourhood Team directly – details can be found on the PSNI website..
