Public Service Broadcasting, one of Britain’s most innovative acts, will be appearing in Derry this weekend.
Presented by Celtronic, the corduroy-clad brainchild of London-based J Willgoose Esquire will be appearing this Sunday night at the Glassworks in Great James Street.
The gig will see Public Service Broadcasting, along with his drumming companion Wrigglesworth, weave samples from old public information films, archive footage and propaganda material around live drums, guitar, banjo and electronics as they teach the lessons of the past through the music of the future – beaming our past back at us through vintage TV sets and state of the art modern video projection devices.
Support on the night will be provided by Stephen McCauley (Electric Mainline) and Vincent (Live).
Doors open at 8.00pm and tickets, priced £11.50, are on sale now at the Millennium Forum Box Office.
