Derry City Council will shortly hold talks with a wide range of stakeholders on the future of Templemore Sports Complex.
The local authority is currently preparing an outline business case for the redevelopment of leisure facicilities at the Centre.
A key part of this process will be an extensive consultation programme with a wide range of stakeholders including community organisations, sporting bodies, government departments, statutory agencies, schools, user groups and individuals.
The consultation plan has been welcomed by Sinn Fein Cllr Eric McGinley who urged groups to take part.
He said “I would encourage as many people as possible to participate in the consultation and help to shape the nature and delivery of future leisure provision at Templemore.”
