Kilcoo 0-9 Ballinderry 1-10
Ballinderry Shamrocks are through to the final of the AIB Ulster GAA Football Senior Club Championship after a comfortable win over Kilcoo this afternoon.
The Derry champions led the Down champions 1-8 to 0-5 at half time at the Athletic Grounds in Armagh and held off a determined Kilcoo in the second period to win by four points on a scoreline of 1-10 to 0-9.
Ballinderry last won the Ulster club title in 2001 but were losing finalists in the 2006 and 2008 deciders.
Ballinderry boss Martin McKinless was delighted with the win and now must prepare his side for the final in which they will take on Donegal champions Glenswilly who defeated Roslea from Fermanagh on the other semi-final tie on a scoreline of 3-9 to 2-8 at Healy Park in Omagh.
Goals from Colin Kelly and Michael Murphy had given the Donegal side a comfortable 2-5 to 0-6 lead at half time.
