The girls of Thornhill College in Derry certainly know what they are talking about when it comes to road safety.
The Culmore Road school are celebrating after a team from the college won the Foyle District Road Safety Public Speaking Competition.
Jennifer Durey (Year 13) took first place in the senior category while Amy Hamilton (Year 11) came top in the Key Stage 4 category. Hannah Auld took third place in the Key Stage 3.
The girls came out on top after impressing adjudicators Jonathan Dunn and Adrian McAuley.
Among those in attendance were Davy Jackson, chairperson of the Foyle District Road Safety Committee, and committee members.
