Police in Derry have issued a renewed appeal for information in relation to the security alert in the city last week in which a bomb was placed on a bus.
A masked man placed the bomb on the bus around teatime on Wednesday last and told the driver to take it to Strand Road police station.
However, after driving about a mile the driver pulled the vehicle into a bus stop on Northland Road and alerted police.
Police say they would like to speak to anyone who boarded the 6.00pm bus at Foyle Street or anyone who saw it between 6.oopm and 6.20pm in the Ballymagroarty area.
The telephone number to ring is 0845 600 8000. Alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
