Derry City supporters are to get the chance to directly question the club’s new team boss Roddy Collins on how he intends to bring the Premiership title to the Brandywell for the first time in 17 years at a “Fans Forum” to be held next week.
The club has announced the Dubliner and his assistant Peter Hutton as well as directors and a number of players would be “on hand” to take questions from fans.
The meeting will take place in the Derry City Social Club in Crawford Square at 7.30pm on Thursday next 5 December.
The forum follows Collins first press conference as manager of the club – held last week – at which he stated he was determined to bring the league title to the banks of the Foyle for the first time since the 1996-97 season.
At that press conference, Collins stated success would only come by the club and community coming together at all levels, on and off the field.
Conceding he knew people had their opinions of him, he said he was prepared to meet people and convince them of his vision of the club.
The club said everyone was welcome to attend the forum at which club merchandise, Christmas draw tickets and season tickets would be available.
