The Pogues’ Shane McGowan is to team up with one of Ireland’s most popular singers for a special concert to be held in Derry next month that is set to see 2013 finish with a bang.

To celebrate the launch of her new collection, “21: Definitive Sharon Shannon,” the popular and multi-award winning musician will perform alongside The Pogues frontman at the city’s Millennium Forum on Sunday 29 December.
Renowned for his songwriting talents, including festive favourite ‘The Fairytale of New York,” McGowan is seen as the perfect guest for Shannon’s up tempo and high octane brand of traditional music.
