A man was treated in hospital for injuries he sustained when he was attacked by a group of men in the Galliagh area of Derry.
A PSNI spokesperson said the man reported being assaulted by a group of males in a grassy area between Brookdale Park and Fern Park.
The incident occurred between 6.45pm and 7.00pm on Tuesday last 26 November but details of the assault have just been released.
The victim was treated in hospital for a fracture to his face and eye injuries.
One of the culprits was wearing glasses, had medium length blonde hair, and was wearing a blue hooded top, dark track bottoms with a blue stripe and black Nike slippers.
Another male was described as being of medium build, with short black hair.
