A man is recovering after being found with a stab wound in the Bogside area of Derry.
The man was found in the Father Mulvey Park area around 6.00pm on Wednesday but it is believed he may have sustained the injury in an incident incident which occurred in the Bogside earlier that afternoon.
A PSNI spokesperson man’s injury required stitching but was not life-threatening.
The spokesperson asked anyone with information about the incident is to contact police on 0845 600 8000 or a member of their local Neighbourhood Team directly – details can be found on the PSNI website.
