Planners have received an application to develop the former police station in Claudy.
The application contains proposals for a detached dwelling with storage shed to rear and associated car parking and landscaping.
The 1.35 acre site is situated on the village’s Main Street and had been on the market for £195,000.
Speaking at a Derry District Policing Partnership meeting in the village in September 2008, PSNI Area Commander Chief Inspector Chris Yates told those present the police station was “not fit for purpose” to serve police officers or the public and it would take up to £250,000 to bring it up to an acceptable standard.
