Derry City supporters are to get the chance to directly question the club’s new team boss Roddy Collins on how he intends to bring the Premiership title to the Brandywell for the first time in 17 years at a “Fans Forum” to be held next week.
The club has announced the Dubliner and his assistant Peter Hutton would take questions from supporters at the forum to be held in the Derry City Social Club in Crawford Square on Tuesday next 17 December at 7.30pm.
Speaking shortly after his appointment, Collins said he was determined to bring the league title to the banks of the Foyle for the first time since the 1996-97 season and that success would only come by the club and community coming together at all levels, on and off the field.
Conceding he knew people had their opinions of him, he said he was prepared to meet people and convince them of his vision of the club.
The club said everyone was welcome to attend the forum at which club merchandise, Christmas draw tickets and season tickets would be available.
The event was due take place on Thursday last 5 December but was re-arranged for Tuesday next.
