A woman was treated for the effects of smoke inhalationl following an incident in the Creggan area of Derry yesterday involving a defective flue.
Firefighters called to a house in Central Drive shortly after 4.00pm discovered a faulty flue had caused smoke to enter a neighbouring property.
A woman in her mid 60s suffered smoke inhalation and was treated at the scene by firefighters before the arrival of ambulance personnel who administered further treatement.
The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service confirmed smoke alarms were fitted in the house.
