A man has been arrested by detectives investigating last month’s pipe bomb attack on police in Strabane.
The man, in his 40s, was arrested in the town this morning and taken to the Serious Crime Suite at Antrim PSNI Station for questioning.
The device was thrown at a police patrol in the Ballycolman estate on 16 November.
After it failed to explode, it was lifted by a member of the public who moved it to an area of waste ground in a former Adria factory site.
Following a controlled explosion by army bomb disposal experts the device was declared a viable pipe bomb.
