A man arrested earlier today in connection with a pipe bomb attack on a police patrol in Strabane last month has been released by police.
The man, in his 40s, was detained by detectives in the town this morning and taken to the Serious Crime Suite at Antrim PSNI Station for questioning.
A police spokesperson said the man had been released without charge earlier this evening.
The device was thrown at a police patrol in the Ballycolman estate on 16 November.
After it failed to explode, it was lifted by a member of the public who moved it to an area of waste ground in a former Adria factory site.
Following a controlled explosion by army bomb disposal experts the device was declared a viable pipe bomb.
