Two men, believed to be from Derry, are being hunted after a woman was left badly shaken when she had her car stolen at knife-point from her home.
The incident happened in the Ballyholey area of Raphoe in Co. Donegal shortly after 6.30pm last night.
Minutes earlier, the two men were in a blue Northern registered Volvo car that was in collision with another vehicle travelling in the same direction on the main Lifford to Letterkenny road.
The two men ran off to a nearby house where they threatened the woman with a knife before stealing her car, a black Opel Corsa with a registation number 05-DL-5891 and driving off in the direction of Letterkenny.
The car later crossed the border at Bridgend on the Derry to Buncrana Road shortly before 10.00pm.
The woman and a man driving the vehicle involved in the collision have been left badly shaken by the incident.
Police in Derry are assisting Gardai in the search for the two men.
