City of Derry Spartan Conor Bradley recorded a personal best to claim second spot in the Telford 10k in England yesterday.
His impressive performance is made all the more remarkable given the fact it was only his second 10k road race and followed his victory in the Seeley Cup 10kin Belfast.
Bradley was one of a number of runners who went through the halfway mark in 14.58 and recorded 14.54 for the second 5k to claim second place behind respected Liverpool Harrier Jonny Mellor for a personal best of 29.52 in slipperly underfoot conditions.
