Police in Derry have appealed for members of the public to help them bring an end to car crime in the Galliagh area of the city.
The appeal follows a recent spate of vehicle crimes in the area.
A police spokesperson said: “Uninsured and stolen vehicles have been rallying around the streets and the green areas causing damage and putting people in danger.
“Some vehicles have been recovered but we need assistance in identifying those responsible so we can work towards taking them and their vehicles off the road.
The spokesperson asked anyone with information to contact their neighbourhood police officer (via 0845 600 8000) or alternatively if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they could contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
