Police in Derry are hunting two men, one armed with a knife, who stole a car from a home in the Strathfoyle area of Derry late last night.
A PSNI spokesperson said it was believed pair, one armed with a knife, entered the house at Stradowen Drive around 11.00pm and made off in the owner’s red Peugeot 306.
The car was later seen in the Craigavon Bridge/Limavady Road areas before being abandoned in the Strathfoyle area around 4.00am this morning.
The car owner was not injured in the incident bust is believed to have been left badly shaken by his ordeal.
The police spokesperson said anyone with information about the incident should contact police on 0845 600 8000.
