Dozens of hardy souls have taken to the freezing waters of Lough Swilly in Inishowen for the annual Christmas Day morning swim.
Scores from Derry took to the chilly sea at Lisfannon near Buncrana to raise cash for a raft of charities including the Foyle and Donegal Hospices.
The annual event has been a regular festive fixture and this year’s “milder” weather conditions attracted a larger than usual number of participants with many supporters cheering on from the shoreline.
