Police in Derry are appealing for information about two creeper burglaries in the city, one of which occurred yesterday.
Sometime between 5.30am and 1.30pm, it was reported keys were taken from a home in Philip Street in the Pennyburn area and a Volkswagen Polo stolen.
In the previous incident, which occurred between 2.30am and 8.45am on Thursday 5 December at a home at Otterbank Road in Strathfoyle, a blue Toyota Corolla car along with a number of other times from the house were stolen.
It is believed a number of Christmas presents were in the boot of the car which was vehicle was recovered in the Ballymagowan Gardens area in the early hours of Saturday 21 December.
A 22 year old man arrested at the scene was released on police bail pending further enquiries.
A PSNI spokesperson said enquiries were continuing into both incidents and appealed to anyone with any information to contact police in Foyle on 0845 600 8000.
