The Republic of Korea’s Ambassador to Ireland has met with a number of local groups during a visit to Derry.
His Excellency Hae-Yun Park’s visit to the city was facilitated by Derry City Council following an expressed interest to meet with projects related to the peace process as he has a keen interest in learning from the Northern Ireland peace process and building relations across Ireland.
During his recent visit, the Ambassador was officially welcomed to the city by the Mayor Cllr Martin Reilly before spending the city meeting with PEACE III funded projects.
While in the city, he met with representatives from Derry City Council, NW PEACE III Partnership and some of its delivery partners including St Columb’s Park House, Holywell Trust, Holywell Consultancy and An Culturlann Ui Chanain.
