The creation of four jobs with the opening of a new branch in Derry by the Bank of Ireland has been welcomed by Sinn Féin Councillor Mickey Cooper.
The new branch will open on the Culmore Road in March as part of a £10 million investment by BOI across the North.
The new premises will feature the latest retail design and customer service standard and will include a full time business advisor and mortgage advisor as well as a full suite of banking services for personal and business customers.
Cllr Cooper said with large number of jobs having lost in the banking sector over the past few years, the setting up of the new branch was a “a positive announcement.”
