Ryan Hughes.

Hughes, who was due back at the jail on December 31 last, was serving a sentence for  driving with excess alcohol, causing grievous bodily injury by driving and burglary.

The 25-year-old has also convictions for disorderly behaviour, resisting police and possession of a class B controlled drug.

He is described as 1.78m tall, medium build with a fresh complexion, brown eyes and black hair.

His distinguishing marks include a crucifix tattoo on his lower left arm and scars on his nose, right hand and right knee.
