There has been another serious road accident in the Strabane area.
In the latest incident, which occurred shortly after 3.00pm yesterday, firefighters released a 30-year-old man from a car involved in a single vehicle collision on the Somerville Road in Clady.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment for injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening.
The accident follows the death of a 62-year-old man in horror smash near Sion Mills on Tuesday last.
Patsy McCroary, from Castlederg died in the collision involving a jeep and a car.
Mr McCroary’s wife and members of his family are understood to be among those receiving treatment in Altnagelvin Hospital in Derry for serious injuries sustained in the collision.
On Friday last, retired businessman Alexander McEntee, from Co Monaghan, died following a collision three-car collision on the Mulvin Road.
