The Derry “LondonDerry” Doire continues to lead they way from Brisbane to Singapore in 4,500 mile Race 8 of the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race.
As temperatures continue to soar, the competition is beginning to heat up with only 200 miles separating the entire fleet.
The Henri Lloyd slipped ahead of Derry Clipper which fought back to reclaim first place.
Derry skipper Sean McCarter is determined to remain out front when they reach the Scoring Gate and take the maximum three points on offer.
