A man is due to appear in court this morning charged with the armed robbery of a bookmakers shop in Derry last month.
A 37 year old man has been charged with possession of a firearm with intent and robbery.
The charges relate to the armed robbery of a Ladbrokes betting office on Racecourse Road on 14 December.
The man is due to appear at Derry Magistrates Court this morning.
The raid on the Shantallow office was the first of five armed robberies at Ladbrokes betting shops in the city over the festive period.
Police said there was no connection between the raids which prompted Ladbrokes to offer a £10,000 reward for information leading to a conviction.
A 43-year-old man arrested in connection with the raid on a Labrokes office at Pennyburn on 16 December, during which two shots were fired, was released on police bail pending further inquiries.
Meanwhile, there were two more armed robberies at bookmakers offices in Derry last night.
It is understood offices in Foyle Street and Strand Road run by the McLeans group were targeted.
